Kolkata is a city of joy so you will also feel joy and happiness while visiting this cathedral. It has a white washed exterior and stained glass windows which look perfect when sun rays reach them. It resembles the european style architecture and designs. There is a well maintained garden as well which gets fully decorated at the time of Christamas. According to me, the most ideal time to visit this church is during christmas days when the entire church is decorated and the garden too is filled with lights. All festivities take place and everyone enjoys the festival with excitement and fun.
I went to this church on the eve of christmas and it was really crowded. People were standing in queues trying to watch the midnight mass which is quite famous there. I would recommend everybody to visit this church while exploring Kolkata.

The christ church is the second oldest church in North India reflecting the beauty of British era in India. It is a yellow colored building which is a really popular tourist place in Shimla. The stained glass windows are exceptional and appear more beautiful at night time. Thes windows depict the various virtues of Christianity. There is also a huge library next to the church and has a great collection of books and ancient scriptures. The entire area around the church looks elegant and magical at night.
