1. Kullu:

If you are done with the sightseeing of Manali and have some time, then you can enjoy visiting Kullu. Kullu is around 42 Km away from Manali. It takes only 1.5 hr to reach Kullu from Manali. There are so many tourist attractions here in Kullu which makes this place a popular destination among travellers. This place is also famous as a honeymoon destination.

Sports activities and Apple orchards attract so many people. If you love to try some adventurous sports, then Kullu is a good place for you. You can try paragliding, rock climbing. Also, you can try the bike safari here. The famous trekking route here is the Prashar Lake trekking route. During your trekking, you will enjoy an amazing view of nature. I am sure you will love it. You can trek to Dhauladhar pass and Rohtang pass.

2. Kasol:

Kasol is also considered to be one of the best weekend getaway destinations from Manali. Kasol, a small village which is situated in a state named Himachal Pradesh. The peacefulness here will refresh every traveler’s mood.

Kasol is also considered Mini Amsterdam. This part of India attracts tourists across the globe. You can explore the village here. Also, you can have a visit to Pin Parbati Pass, Sar Pass, KheerGanga trek, Yanker Pass. Make sure to try tent camping in Kasol.

You can have a visit to Kasol from October to June. This place is around 76 Km away from Manali and it takes only 2.5 hrs. to reach Kasol from Manali.

3. Tirthan Valley:

Tirthan valley is an unexplored place by many people. Numerous things make this place popular amongst travelers. Here, you can go camping, fishing or also trekking. This place offers you numerous adventurous activities and also gives you the chance to see the beautiful sightseeing.

This place is famous for river crossing and Serlosakar Lake. If you want to increase your adrenaline rush, then get up early in the morning and experience the river crossing in Tirthan Valley. If you are a wildlife lover, then the Himalayan National Park will be a good place to explore.

Tirthan Valley is around 100 Kms. Away from Manali and it takes 3 to 3.5 hrs. to reach this beautiful destination.

4. Bir:

Bir is famous for paragliding, Hand gliding, and nature walks. Bir, a small town which is popular for its adventurous activities. Bir is one of the famous destinations in the world to try the adventurous sport – Paragliding. Bir billing is considered to be the capital of paragliding in India. Other than the paragliding you can enjoy Hand gliding here. Please note that one needs to be trained in handliding.

You can also walk at Bir road. From there, you can collect some relics from the local street shops which will remind you about your trip to Bir.

Bir is around 177 kms away from Manali and it takes around 5.5 Hrs. to reach this amazing destination.
