Pangong Lake is a very beautiful lake which is situated 160 Km away from the city Leh. As the amount of salt in the water is high here, due to which there is no aquatic life but while visiting this lake, you can see ducks or gulls on the surface of the water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My recommendation to visit this place would be in the month of June. Also, there are no entry fees to witness the beauty of this beautiful lake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Magnetic Hill:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

While traveling on the Leh – Kargil route to Ladakh, one will pass the popular Magnetic Hill. The distance between this place and Leh city is around 30 Km. This hill got this name because of the magnetic illusion. Here the downhill looks like an uphill. This is because of the magnetic illusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you turn off your engine and leave your car in neutral gear, the car will automatically start moving uphill because of the magnetic pull. 3. Shanti Stupa:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The timings of the Shanti Stupa are from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM and also there are no entry fees to visit this place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
