Once you arrive at Arequipa airport, you will be assisted and transferred to the selected hotel. In the afternoon, you will visit the city. The trip begins at the Monastery of Santa Catalina de Siena. Then, you will head towards the Cathedral (the cloisters of the Jesuits), the residential areas of Cayma, and the Yanahuara viewpoint from where tourists can enjoy a wonderful view of the city and the volcanoes. The overnight stay is scheduled in Arequipa.

You will depart for a day trip to the Colca Valley. During the trip, tourists will view the beautiful landscape and thermal baths. Tourists will also come across the cultural symbiosis of the ancient Andean culture and the Catholic religion.

On the way, tourists will pass through Yura, Arrieros Pampa, Cañahuas, Viscachani, and Tojra. Nextly, you will visit the small stone towers called “apachetas”.

You will have lunch at Chivay, the most important city at the entrance of the Colca Canyon.

Afterward, you will return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

In the morning, you will move towards the “Mirador Cruz del Condor", from where you can see the greatness of the barrel and the Condor, the largest flying land bird in the Western Hemisphere. Later, you will be transported to Puno to carry on with the further journey.
