Kanha Jungle Lodge - a gateway to nature
Set amidst a thick Sal forest spread across a vast 11-acres, Kanha Jungle Lodge is a visual treat and a real pep up. The natural environment and built are not disturbed which is the main attraction of the jungle lodge. The courtyard is an open area in the center of the lodge which is beautifully surrounded by lush Sal forest. There is an open ground left wild with lush overgrown grass which attracts the forest inhabitants like flying squirrel and a number of colorful chirping birds. This is an ideal hotspot for stargazing in the evening while the mornings are made beautiful by the birds, butterflies, insects, langur monkeys and spotted deer. Lie down on the hammock to relax and get refreshed.
Nature walks are organized in and around the lodge through the forest to experience wildlife and to catch insects and birds in their natural inhabitants. You may also catch elephants bathing in the afternoon which is an experience by its own. Bird-watching excursions, butterflies collection and astronomy studies are among the major attractions of Kanha Jungle Lodge.

There are 18 spacious rooms and two new independent deluxe cottages well-equipped with private patios that overlook the green flora of the surrounding. All the 20 accommodations have modern facilities with attached bathrooms equipped with amenities like shower, running hot and cold water, luxurious toiletries and hot water bottle to keep you warm during winters. All the rooms and interiors have one thing in common - that is to keep the nature intact without being touched. In one of the rooms, there is a tree growing through it.
A dining experience one wouldn't forget in a hurry
The dining area is a thatched hall with the facilities of variety of cuisines - Indian, continental and other popular recipes. The unique selling point is the fresh and home cooked food of which most of the vegetables and fruits are grown in organic firms in the resort premises. The resort also provides option for open dining under the stars, or to enjoy a healthy breakfast amidst the rustling sal forest greeted by colorful birds.
