The Taj Mahua Kothi has 12 beautifully decorated cottage suites - named as "Kutiyas" meaning hut. These cottages have all the amenities of a luxurious stay. Nestled in the vicinity of Bandhavgarh National Forest in Madhya Pradesh, the Mahua Kothi is the first of the Taj Safari Lodges. The name of the forest lodge is derived from the most beautiful trees of India - the butter tree or the MadhucaIndica which is famous for its luscious off-white flowers. Just like the flowers ornament several of the traditional rituals and festivals celebrated in the country, the Mahua Kothi is the centre-stage surrounded by lush forest of the national park.
Sprawling over a plush green region, former tented camp Churhat Kothi complements the entire complex the best possible way. The quaint and rustic surrounding beautifully balances the accommodation, facilities, look and services.

The guest areas are enclosed in a huge building made of bricks. The look of the building is rustic and simple which displays deep verandas overlooking the grassland. The surrounding forest patch makes the entire view exotic, and the stay is extremely thrilling. There is a dining hall with a large fireplace where guests can arrange bonfire during cold winter evenings. There are private organic gardens for salads inside the lodge where visitors can pick fresh vegetables and fruits.
It is a class apart because.
Apart from the regular stay, food and in-house guest services, one can also avail services from a menu of treatments by professional masseurs. Nothing is as relaxing as an Ayurvedic massage to rejuvenate every senses.
