The Vivanta Sawai Madhopur Lodge is a luxurious resort, once used by the Kings as their hunting lodge. The original lodge was built around 80 years ago for the Maharaja Sawai Mansingh II of Jaipur. The resort was recently renovated to include luxuries of the modern world without disturbing the old school charm of the retreat. The original bar, dining room and lounge of the
retreat reflect who the Maharaja enjoyed during his hunting expeditions.

During the hunting expeditions hosted by the Maharaja of Jaipur, the royal family, and their entourage used live in tents. After the renovations were completed, the lavish tents gave way to luxurious and spacious rooms. The resort has a total of 20 suites and 16 rooms with a gorgeous view of the garden area. The en-suite bathroom is decorated aesthetically and the toiletry kit is arranged with popular Ayurvedic products. The entire resort offers Wi-Fi connectivity so that guests can stay connected with the outside world. The rooms are decorated with wooden furniture, reminding of the old school charm.

The resort is just 20 minutes short drive to the Ranthambore National Park, home of the deadly Royal Bengal Tigers. Apart from that tourists can visit the other places of interest such as the Jogi Mahal, Ranthambore Fort, and the water reservoirs like Surwal Lake and Padam Lake.
