Itinerary

Day 01 Arrival in Delhi

After arriving in Delhi, you will be transferred to the hotel.
Delhi is the capital of India. One can come across two different sides of the capital in the form of Old Delhi and New Delhi respectively. Hence, it is a fusion of old and new.
The overnight stay is in Delhi.

Day 02 Delhi

You will explore the city of Delhi. Firstly, you will visit the Raj Ghat, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation. Then, you will visit the museum built to commemorate him. Afterward, you will pass through the Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. You can be driven past the market of Chandni Chowk in a rickshaw (optional). It is usually said to be a shopper’s paradise as it is possible to buy almost everything (food, clothes, household goods, jewelry, etc.) in this market. Later, you will visit the Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in the country.
In the afternoon, you will visit Qutub Minar, the largest minaret in the country. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then, you will visit Humayun’s Tomb, which is another UNESCO World Heritage Site in Delhi. Afterward, you will visit the India Gate. You will also be driven past the Parliament House, President’s House, and other Government Secretarial Buildings. At last, you will pay a visit to the famous Lakshminarayan Temple, dedicated to Lord Narayan and Goddess Lakshmi.
The overnight stay is in Delhi.

Day 03 Delhi - Agra

You will move towards Agra after checking-out of the hotel. Located on the banks of Yamuna River, Agra is an ancient city in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Agra is an important constituent of the Golden Triangle, along with Delhi and Jaipur. Agra served as the capital of various Mughal rulers.
In the afternoon, you will visit the world-famous Taj Mahal, which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The white marble mausoleum was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the loving memory of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The monument attracts a large number of tourists from all across the world due to its architectural beauty.
The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays.
Next, you will visit the Agra Fort, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This magnificent structure was constructed in the 16th century during the Mughal Empire. There are many beautiful palaces inside the fort, out of which the famous ones are Khas Mahal, Jahangir Palace, Diwan-e-Aam (hall of public audience), and Diwan-e-Khas (hall of private audience).

Day 04 Agra - Jaipur

You will start your journey for Jaipur, en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikri. The fortified city was established by the Mughal Emperor Akbar in the 16th century. Featuring various historical edifices, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Fatehpur Sikri, you will visit Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chishti, Panch Mahal, Buland Darwaza, Ibadat Khana, Naubat Khana, Mariam-uz-Zamani’s Palace, and Birbal’s House.
Then, you will continue moving towards Jaipur. It is the capital city of Rajasthan. The city is full of beautiful forts and palaces, which are not only ancient structures but also boast of a glorious past of the region. The Prince of Wales visited the city in 1876. The city was painted pink as a gesture of hospitality to him. Since then, the city is famous as the Pink City.
The rest of the day is at leisure. The overnight stay is in Jaipur.

Day 05 Jaipur

You will have a full-day tour of Jaipur. In the morning, you will visit the Amer Fort. Also known as the Amer Palace, it was the previous capital of the city. You will ascend the fort via a jeep ride. Built of red sandstone, the fort is divided into four sections, each with a courtyard. Surajpol is the main entrance gate of the fort. It depicts splendid architecture. There is a temple dedicated to Goddess Sila Devi near another gate of the fort, i.e. Ganesh Gate. The fort has several famous structures, namely Diwan-e-Aam (hall of public audience), Diwan-e-Khas (hall of public audience), Sheesh Mahal (palace of mirrors), and Sukh Niwas.
Then, you will visit Maharaja’s City Palace. It is a blend of three different architectural styles, namely Mughal, Rajput, and European. Afterward, you will visit the Jantar Mantar, which is an observatory that attracts mathematicians and astronomers from different corners of the world. You will also visit the Hawa Mahal, which is popular for its breathtaking architecture. Later, you will be driven past the pink rose garden and business centers of the city.
Jaipur is very famous for carpets, precious and semi-precious gemstones, jewelry, handicrafts, clothes, silk paintings and miniatures, etc. Make sure to buy some souvenirs from the colorful markets as a tour of Jaipur is incomplete without shopping.

Day 06 Jaipur - Udaipur

You will be transferred to the airport for catching a flight to Udaipur. After reaching Udaipur, you will check-in at the hotel. Known by different names such as the City of Lakes or Venice of the East, Udaipur was founded in 1559 by Rana Udai Singh. The city was the capital of the Mewar kingdom. There are many beautiful palaces and lakes in the city.
In the afternoon, you will visit the City Palace, located on the banks of Lake Pichola. Then, you will visit the famous Jagdish Temple. You will also be driven past Fateh Sagar Lake. Later, you will visit Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir, which is a museum portraying wonderful art collection. At last, you will explore Saheliyon ki Bari.
The overnight stay is in Udaipur.

Day 07 Udaipur

You will visit the Eklingji Temple, which is dedicated to the deity of Maharanas of Mewar. Made up of sandstone and marble, the temple was built in 734 A.D. It is a huge temple complex, comprising as many as 108 temples, enclosed within high walls and under a pyramidical roof of hundreds of knobs. Later, you will visit the Nagda, which is one of the ancient palaces of the Mewar kingdom, dating back to the 6th century A.D. Saas-Bahu Temples are also amongst the most intricately carved out temples in Udaipur.
Afterward, you will enjoy a boat ride on the Lake Pichola. Meanwhile, you can admire the surrounding region, comprising of lofty hills, splendid palaces, ancient temples, etc. You will also visit the island palace, Jag Niwas. The overnight stay is in Udaipur.

Day 08 Udaipur - Delhi

You will be transferred to the airport on time to catch a flight to Delhi. From there, you can continue with your onward journey.
