Itinerary
Welcome to Delhi, India. Our tour representative will receive you at the airport and will help you in the check-in process at the hotel. You can have dinner at the hotel. The overnight stay is scheduled in Delhi.
You can have breakfast in the hotel. Later, you can start exploring the capital city. The tour will start from the Raj Ghat (cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi), Jama Masjid, Red Fort, and Chandni Chowk. In the afternoon, you will visit Qutub Minar, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later, you will visit Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate, and Lakshminarayan Temple. At last, you will be driven through the President’s House, Parliament House, Government Secretarial Buildings, and Connaught Place. Then, you will return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Early morning you will check out of the hotel. You will be dropped at the railway station from where you will board Delhi – Ajmer Shatabdi train. Arrive Ajmer and transfer to Pushkar. Pushkar holds great religious (in Hinduism) as well as historical significance. The town has a temple dedicated to Lord Brahma. The temple is one-of-its-kind in the country. During the afternoon tour of Pushkar, you will pay a visit to the temple. The rest of the day is for exploring other places. The overnight stay is in Pushkar.
After having breakfast in the hotel, you can head towards Jaipur by road. Once you have reached the Pink City, you will be transferred to the hotel. You can spend the rest of the day for shopping. You can enjoy dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay is scheduled in Jaipur.
You can start the day with a visit to the Amer Fort, which was the capital of Jaipur in early times. You can visit the beautiful Sheesh Mahal in the fort. You can visit the Maharaja’s City Palace, Jantar Mantar, and Ram Niwas Gardens in the afternoon. Later, you will be driven past the Hawa Mahal. Then, you can have a look at the pink rose garden and business centers of the city. You will return to the hotel for having dinner and an overnight stay.
After having breakfast, you will check-out from the hotel to proceed towards Agra by road. You will visit Fatehpur Sikri en route. Fatehpur Sikri is a fortified town near Agra. It has so many historic monuments, boasting of the grandeur of the Mughal era. You can visit Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chishti, Panch Mahal, etc. Then, you will continue the journey towards Agra. The overnight stay is scheduled in Agra.
You will pay a visit to the world-famous Taj Mahal in the early morning. The mausoleum was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the loving memory of his favorite wife Mumtaz Mahal.
The Taj Mahal remains closed on Fridays.
Later, you will visit the Agra Fort, which has various structures featuring marvelous architecture. Some of the major ones are Diwan-e-Aam (hall of public audience) and Diwan-e-Khas (hall of private audience).
Then, you will move towards Delhi, from where you can catch a flight for your further journey. It is important to note that dinner and accommodation won’t be provided on the last day of the trip.
