Today you will drive to Kaza while drive through Rohtand Pass, Chandra river valley & Kunzum pass.
Rohtang pass:
A mountain Pass which connect Spiti valley to Kullu valley. Rohtang pass generally opens from May to November and you will see a huge footfall in this pass, it is a very famous touristic destination for people who go to Manali. Apart from its stunning beauty, Rohtang Pass holds a very important strategic importance also.
Kunzum pass:
Kunzum pass is the gateway to Spiti valley, if you have a camera with you or even have a phone camera, it is time to take it out as this view is mesmerizing and for nature lover or mountain lover, this is heaven. It is approx. 120 kms from Manali but it take more than 3 hours to reach here.
Kunzum devi temple is located here and many visitors seeks blessing of Kunzum devi while on this track.
Chandra river valley:
Chandra Tal is located at the Lahaul area of Lahaul and Spiti. A very famous place for trekkers and tourists and for its scenic beauty. It is called Chandra tal due to its crescent shape. It can only be visited on summer season as otherwise it remains frozen. Its colour keep on changing as the day progress.
Kaza:
A beautiful destination in Himachal Pradesh which have beautiful mountains, river, stunning view. In Kaza, you will find New and old Kaza. Old Kaza have government offices while New Kaza have King’s palace. This town is a very good touristic destination, you can find fine hotels and outlets which adds it to being an important tourist place.
