Day 01 Arrive in Delhi. Later Delhi historical tour

On your first day, you will arrive in Delhi, the capital of the country. From there, our representative will transfer you to the hotel. Titled as the ‘City of the Cities’, this land was the popular kingdom in the Mughal empire. In the political epicenter, you will witness a blend of modern with contemporary culture. Your tour will start from Old Delhi and finish in the New Delhi. While a part of Delhi represents an old essence with the allies, another part represents an opposite picture. In Old Delhi, you will visit places like Raj Ghat, Jama Masjid and pass by Red Fort, Chandni Chowk, etc. In the afternoon, you will visit Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site; Humayun's tomb, India Gate and pass by Parliament House, President’s house, other Government Secretarial Buildings and Lakshmi Narayan Temple. Visiting the city will not be completed unless you buy something from here. During your leisure hours, you can visit the local markets and buy the necessary things for you and your family members. Spend the night here.

Day 02 Drive from Delhi to Jaipur

In the early morning, you will be taken to Jaipur, the Pink City and the vibrant capital of Rajasthan. Though it was built 260 years ago, in the 18th century, when the Prince of Wales came here, the entire city was painted in Pink and thus, it got its name. Enriched with the influence of different rulers, this colorful and chaotic city is one of the most favored destinations for the travelers.

The city is famous for marvelous building and the breathtaking designs. Each of the palaces represents a different form of architecture that will awestruck you every moment. The fairly-tale like palaces are something that satiates the thirst of wanderlust. If you want to explore the buried facts of history, you would love the place. What more? Spend the rest of the day to stroll around the city, to buy something that you love and to relish the foods of the restaurants. Overnight is in Jaipur.

Day 03 Jaipur and Amber Fort, a historical tour

Today, your journey will start from Amber Fort, also popular as Amer Palace. Constructed by Raja Man Singh and made of red sand-stone and marble, this fort is divided into four sections. Surajpol, the entrance gate is familiar for its fascinating architecture. There is a temple of Goddess Sila Devi near the Ganesh gate. You will also witness Diwan-e-Aam - Diwan-e-Khas, Sheesh Mahal, and SukhNiwas.

In Jaipur, you will be driven to Maharaja City Palace, a magnificent palace complemented with seven floors and Jantar Mantar(an observatory). The beauty of the palace and the observatory attract travelers from all over the world. You will also visit Hawa Mahal (Palace of Wind) and Pink Rose Garden. The clothes, carpets, stones and jewelry of this city are quite famous. You can buy these for you or your dear ones. Spend the night in Jaipur.

Day 04 Drive from Jaipur to Fatehpur Sikri to Agra

On day 4, you will be taken to Agra enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri, a 16th century wonder, constructed by Emperor Akbar. It was the short-lived capital of the Mughal Empire. Here, you will see a blend on Indo-Islamic style with immense craftsmanship. A stunning mosque was also built here that is still in use. Here you will also see three palaces which were dedicated to his favorite wives - one a Hindu, one a Muslim and one a Christian.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this historical monument holds exceptional testimony to Mughal Civilization. If you can manage the time, you will also visit the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chishti, the five storied Panch Mahal and Buland Darwaza. Other buildings of the place that you will explore include Mariam-uz-Zamani’s palace, Ibadat Khana, Naubat Khana and Birbal’s house. Later, you will be driven to Agra where you will spend the afternoon at leisure. Spend the night in the hotel of Agra.

Day 05 Agra Historical tour

The former capital of Hindustan, Agra is situated on the banks of river Yamuna. A part of the Golden Triangle Tour circuit, Agra also familiar as Akbarabad is a major tourist destination of India. In the morning, you will be taken to one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal. Made of white marble, this magnificent monument was built in memory of beautiful Mumtaz. The breathtaking monument will spell bind you every moment.

Your next destination would be a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an architectural wonder, named Agra Fort. Comprising of several fairy-tale palaces like KhasMahal and Jahangir Palace, it offers you an opportunity to witness the famous Diwan-e-Aam and Diwan-e-Khas. Agra is a land of marble and is famous for handicrafts made of wood, metal and marble. Spend the afternoon to visit the other must visit places in Agra or you can head out for shopping. Overnight is in Agra.

Day 06 Agra to Jhansi by train and to Khajuraho by road (191 kms)

Today, you will be transferred to Agra rail-station to board your train for Jhansi. After arriving there, you will be driven to Khajuraho – located in Madhya Pradesh; where you will see Hindu, Buddhist and Jain temples. Deriving the name from date trees familiar as Khajur trees in Hindi, Khajuraho is a place of striking erotic temples. Constructed during 950 AD to 1050 AD by the Chandelas; the temples were forgotten as well as was covered with dense palm-date trees.

Out of the 85 temples, only 25 temples have survived. The magnificent temples suggest a tradition of acceptance as well as respect for religious views. The place was re-discovered by Capt. T.S. Burt and an engineer from British army in 1838. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 07 Khajuraho historical tour and later overnight train to Varanasi

On this day, your morning tour will take you to the temples of Khajuraho. No other destination will evoke so many responses like Khajuraho. The sculptures on the walls mesmerize the travelers and the architectures. Your sight-seeing will take you to temples like Bharatji or Chitragupta - composed of magnificent 11 headed pictures of Lord Vishnu, Lakshmana Temple, Yogini Kali Temple, Nandi &Vishvanath Temples, Shiva Visha Temple and Mahadev Temple.

It is a common believe that the sculptures with minute details symbolizes ‘good luck’. Influenced by Buddhism, the makers tried to represent different forms of love through the sculptures. You will also visit the Parasvanath Temple of Khajuraho – the famous Jain temple, and the Javeri Temple - dedicated to the Hindu Lord Vishnu. Other wonders that you will witness include Lord Adinath and Yamuna temple and Lord Brahma temple. Check-out from the hotel is at 1200 hrs noon. Later in the evening you will be transferred to Khajuraho rail-station in time for your Varanasi train. Night on board.

Highlights: Khajuraho- visit the Chaunset Yogini Kali temple, Chitragupta temple, Lakshmana temple, Mahadev temple, Nandi and Vishvanath temple, Siva’s Visha temple and Parasvanath temple.

Day 08 Varanasi

Today morning, you will arrive in Varanasi, the holy city of India and one of the fascinating places on earth; and will be taken to the hotel. Dating back to 5000 years ago, it is considered to be the oldest city and nowadays, the cultural and spiritual capital of North India. Pilgrims come here to wash their sins in the holy water of Ganges.

Spend the rest of the day to stroll around Varanasi also known as Benaras or Banaras or Kashi or you can also visit Sarnath. The evening prayer rituals at the river Ganges are something that will mesmerize you. You will also experience a spiritual feeling. According to Hindu belief, death in the city brings salvation. The ‘City of temples’, the ‘City of learning’ or the oldest living city on earth is one of the top tourist destinations. If you get free time, visit the bazaars. Overnight is in Varanasi.

Day 09 Varanasi historical tour and later Delhi overnight train

Varanasi is a magical land. Spend the morning hours to explore different banks of Ganges through a boat excursion. The sights, sounds, and smells of the banks (ghats) will offer you a divine feeling. Two of the most renowned river banks that you will visit here are Manikarnika and Harishchandra ghats. The City of Light will secure an exclusive place in your heart.

Visited by hundreds of devotees, the banks are famous not only for taking a holy dip but also for cremation purposes. During your visit, you may witness several funeral pyres burning around the banks. Spend the leisure hours of the afternoon by relaxing or by visiting Sarnath, a deer park. It is the place where Buddha offered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment and taught of the four noble truths. Check-out f room the hotel is at 1200 hrs noon. Later you will be transferred to the railway station to board your Delhi train. Overnight is on the train.

Highlights: Varanasi - Boat ride on the River Ganges visiting the Manikarnika and Harishchandraghats.

Day 10: Delhi

You will arrive here in the morning and will be transferred to the hotel by our representatives. You have a free day in the city or you could opt for additional visits. You can visit SwaminarayanAkshardham, a divine abode of God. Made of Rajasthani pink sandstone and Italian marble, it is one of the largest temple complexes of the world. Built as per Vastu and PancharatraShastra, the temple contains 234 pillars, 20,000 idols of sages, nine domes, and 148 of full-sized elephants.

The magnificent monument has curved details of flora, fauna, dancers, musicians, and deities as well as statues of Swaminarayan, Radha Krishna, Sita Ram, Shiva Parvati, and Lakshmi Narayan.You will also visit YagnapurushKund, the largest step well of India along with a musical fountain. To experience 1000 years of Indian history, book a boat ride. Overnight is in Delhi.

Day 11 Departure

You will be taken to the airport on time to board a flight for the return journey.
