Itinerary
Arrive Gupti : Upon arrival at the village of Gupti, approximately a 3-½ hours’ drive from Bhubaneswar and a short distance from the nearby town of Rajnagar, take some time to acquaint yourself with the Catamaran vessel. If time allows, enjoy a leisurely walk along the river. In the evening, treat yourself to a multi-course traditional meal, offering you the authentic flavors of the region. Dinner & overnight onboard Catamaran at Gupti.
After breakfast, embark on a full-day sailing adventure through the rich and distinctive mangrove ecosystem, featuring creeks, mudflats, and estuaries, until we reach Dangamal. Along the way, keep an eye out for Estuarine Crocodiles, Spotted Deer, Monitor Lizards, Wild Boars, Indian Pythons, Rhesus Macaques, and a variety of birds. If time allows, we can visit the Orientation Centre. Later, we'll sail back to Gupti, where the breathtaking view of the forest and the setting sun will leave you mesmerized. Enjoy dinner followed by a relaxed evening. Dinner & overnight onboard Catamaran at Gupti.
After breakfast, set sail on the Mahipura river towards the Bay of Bengal and soak in the stunning landscape along the way. Depending on the time and tide conditions, you may have the opportunity to visit Habali Kathi, which entails a one-hour walk through the mangrove forest to reach the beach. Following the tide schedule, sail back to Gupti jetty. Dinner & overnight onboard Catamaran at Gupti.
Following breakfast, disembark from the vessel and continue your onward journey.
