You will have breakfast at the hotel. Afterward, you will head out for the city tour. You will visit the famous Amer Fort. Constructed of red sandstone and marble, the fort is divided into 4 sections, each of which has a courtyard. Featuring magnificent architecture, Surajpol is the main entrance gate of the fort. There is a temple dedicated to the Goddess Sila Devi near another gate, i.e. Ganesh Gate. Tourists will also visit Diwan-e-Aam (hall of public audience), Diwan-e-Khas (hall of private audience), Sheesh Mahal (palace of mirrors), and Sukh Niwas in the fort.
Either you can opt for one way elephant ride to ascend the fort or you can climb up to the fort in a jeep.
NOTE: As we do not wish to harm any animal or to use them for entertainment purposes, we do not recommend the elephant ride.
However, you can opt for a day visit to Elefantastic. During the visit, you can experience feeding, walking, washing elephants. This activity is suitable for those who wish to know more about the lifestyle of the Asian Elephant.
You will visit the City Palace and Jantar Mantar in the afternoon. You will also explore the Hawa Mahal. Later, you will pass through the pink rose garden and business centers of the city. As the tour to Jaipur is incomplete without shopping, make sure to buy some souvenirs from the colorful markets of the Pink City.
The overnight stay is scheduled in Jaipur.
