Step into the historical city of Fatehpur Sikri after arriving there by road. This city was built in the 16th century, by the mighty Emperor Akbar. It consists of several ancient building and monuments with elements of both Hindu and Muslim.
The first is at the Buland Darwaza. This is an imperial gate built in the 17th century by Emperor Akbar. It is made up of sandstone and is the main entrance to Fatehpur Sikri. Then, you will visit the Jama MAsjid. This is a great mosque built by Emperor Akbar in 1570. Then, you will visit the Tomb of Salim Chishti which is a marble tomb built in 1580. Also get a chance to visit Ibadat Khana, Mariam-uz-Zamani's palace, Naubat Khana and Birbal's house.
