Day 01 Arrive in Bangalore

Your South India Vacation package will bring you to Bangalore, the ‘Garden city of India’, where you will be transferred to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. A major IT hub and the ‘Silicone Valley of India’, Bangalore is one of the top-notch choices for the entrepreneurs to start their business venture. Aside from the commercial districts, the neighborhoods of the city are serene and quiet, mainly the older parts. A lost king was offered boiled beams by a poor woman and later he named the place "benda-kaal-uru" that means a town of boiled beans. During March or April, a festival called, Karaga Shaktyotsava is celebrated and thousands of devotees come here. Spend the night here.

Day 02 Bangalore

In day 2, you will enjoy a Tour to Bangalore. Your South India Holiday will include a to places like Lal Bagh, Maharaja's Palace and many more. You can also witness various marvelous temples. Started by Hyder Ali and finished by his son Tipu Sultan, the Lal Bagh consists of the largest collection of tropical plants in India – hundreds of species of flora and trees of over 100 years. Looking like the Windsor Castle of England, the construction of the Bangalore Palace was started in 1862 and finished in 1944. Next, you will be driven to several Government buildings. The afternoon is at leisure and overnight is in Bangalore.

Day 03 Bangalore to Kochi by flight as well as drive to Alappuzha (53 kms)

To board your flight for Kochi, you will be transferred to the Bangalore airport. After arriving here, you will be taken to Alappuzha, the ‘Venice of the East’. Also familiar as Alleppey, it is a picturesque town that is crisscrossed with canals and offers you beaches, backwaters, as well as lagoons. To experience something momentous during your South India Vacation, book a cruise in the backwater. On the Second Saturday of August in every year, the Nehru Trophy Boat Race is celebrated on the Punnamada Lake. For paddy fields as well as lush green coconut palms, Kuttanad is familiar as the rice bowl of Kerala. The most important commodity that is manufactured in Alappuzha is Coir. Day 04 Alappuzha

Day 05 Alleppey to Kochi by road (53 kms) and flight to Chennai

South India Vacation will drive you to Kochi airport to board your Chennai flight. After arriving in Chennai, you will be taken to the hotel. Built by the English in 1639, Chennai was derived from Chennaipattanam. The earlier name Madras was taken from Madraspattinam, a fishing village. The capital of Tamil Nadu, Chennai is the largest industrial and commercial center of South India and is famous for its Tamil movies. The British defended the town from several attacks from the French and converted it into a major port. You will be taken to various places of interest and museums. Spend the night here.

Day 06 Chennai to Puducherry by road (159 kms)

Your South India Holiday Packages will take you to Puducherry, also popular as Pondy or Pondicherry. It is a city of colonial influence. In 1674, it was acquired by the French and has various colonial churches, buildings, statues and temples. When you witness the systematic well-planned avenues, you will understand how colonial ambiance is still present there. During your tour, you will be driven to numerous heritage buildings as well as monuments. You can also visit Promenade Beach, Auroville Beach, Paradise Beach, and Serenity Beach. Spend the night here.

Day 07 Puducherry to Mamallapuram by road (96 kms)

On day 7, you will be visiting Pondicherry that is divided into the French Quarters "Ville Blanche" and the Indian quarter "Ville Noire". Some of the allies still have their French names. Next, you will be driven to Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Auroville and the Lord Ganesha Sri Manakula Vinayagar Temple.

After that, you will be driven to Mamallapuram, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a city of "Seven Pagodas". Now only the Shore Temple out of ‘Seven Pagodas’ survives. Your tour & travel’ will take you through the cave temples and mandapams. Here, you will also witness the largest Bas-relief in the world. You will also visit the five chariots, the Shore temple, and many more. Overnight is in Mahabalipuram.

Day 08 Mahabalipuram to Chennai road (51 kms)
