On day 1, your journey will start at the Delhi Airport, where you will board a flight to Jabalpur. Jabalpur is the closest airport to Bandhavgarh National Park. It will be a morning flight which will take you to the “Heart of India”. Meal will be provided inside the flight itself so that post landing in Jabalpur, you can continue your onward journey to the Tiger Reserve. Once you reach Jabalpur Airport, you will be greeted by your driver who will take you for a 4-hour drive to Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. The car will be loaded with all the essential snacks like juice, fruits and water to make your travel more comfortable and keep you rehydrated. It’s a 4 hours’ drive from Jabalpur to Bandhavgarh. The roads are usually a bit busy but they turn rural and empty once you get closer and closer to the Tiger Reserve. Once you reach Bandhavgarh, you will be checked in to your lodge which is resting at the edge of the Tiger Reserve. Every evening you can hear sounds of Deer’s alarming you of Leopard spotting.
