This morning after breakfast you will be transferred to airport to board a direct flight to Nagpur. Upon arrival, take the two hours drive to Tadoba, and check-in your hotel. Post lunch, you will finally proceed with the much awaited safari.The entire Tiger Reserve Project includes the Tadoba National Park, as well as the Andhari River Wildlife Sanctuary. This is one of the 47 tiger reserves that exist in India, and is said to be Maharashtra’s most ancient and greatest National Park, also referred to as the ‘Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve’. Located in the Chandrapur district of Maharashtra state, it covers an area of 1,727 sq.km and is at a distance of about 150 km from Nagpur. The beautiful Andhari River that runs through the reserve is a significant source of nourishment for the entire region. The dry tropical forests at the south are deciduous and contain a wide range of species and wildlife including leopards, tigers, deers, wild dogs, sloths, bears, crocodile and bisons.
