Two Taj Palace hotels are among the world’s top 10

Recently, Condé Nast Traveler released the prestigious Readers’ Choice Awards 2019 UK and USA. The Best Hotels in the World features two entries from India. Taj Lake Palace, Udaipur has been ranked no. 3 on the list while Rambagh Palace, Jaipur made it up to 7th rank in the list.
For the first time in history, the annual surveys in the USA and UK were combined to create the Global Readers’ Choice List. Over 6 lac readers from across the globe submitted ratings and comments for their favorite travel brands and destinations. The Taj hotels are the only two Indian properties to feature in the list of top ten hotels in the world. These luxurious hotels are run by Indian Hotels Company Ltd. (IHCL) of the Tata Group.
Both hotels also got ranked in the category of Top 15 Hotels in India. A total of 5 Taj hotels have been featured in the list of top 15. Taj Lake Palace, Udaipur ranked at no. 1, Rambagh Palace, Jaipur ranked at no. 2, Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai took the position at no. 9, Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur bagged no. 11 position and Jai Mahal Palace, Jaipur followed them at no. 12.
Speaking on the achievement of Taj Lake Palace and Rambagh Palace, Rohit Khosla, executive vice-president, Operations, North, IHCL, said, “The palace hotels are awe-inspiring and the moment the guests enter, they are treated in splendor exactly like the royals.
