India largest aviation company, IndiGo has come up with various new routes, out of which some are domestic while others are international. The airline is said to start the daily direct flights on the Kolkata - Hanoi - Kolkata route. The flights will operate from October 3, 2019, at a starting all-inclusive price of Rs. 9,999.
William Boulter, chief commercial officer, IndiGo said, “IndiGo will continue to expand its network to meet the requirements of both business and leisure travelers across domestic and international destinations”.
IndiGo has also launched the fourth direct flight on the Mumbai – Dubai route from 25 August 2019. Earlier, the airline announced the launch of the daily direct flights on the Delhi-Dhaka, Mumbai-Singapore and Mumbai-Bangkok routes from August 22, 2019, at a starting all-inclusive price of Rs. 8,499. The carrier will also operate daily non-stop flights on the Kolkata-Yangon route at a starting all-inclusive price of Rs. 5,999 from September 20, 2019.
“These new flights are designed to cater to business and leisure travelers who are constantly on the lookout for new and affordable flying options,” the airline said.
Earlier, IndiGo announced new flights connecting Delhi with other cities on its domestic network. The daily direct flights will be operated on the Delhi-Agartala and Delhi-Dibrugarh routes, starting from August 14. IndiGo is offering flight tickets starting from Rs. 4,499 and Rs. 3,999 on the Delhi-Dibrugarh and Delhi-Agartala routes respectively.
The airlines will operate two flights on Gaya- Kolkata route and one flight on Gaya – Varanasi route from 8 August 2019.
The country civil aviation sector has witnessed high competition in the last few months.
