Karnataka on the way to be a wonderland for the trekkers

And adding to its allure, Karnataka Forest Department has disclosed 26 new eco-trails and asked the Karnataka Eco-Tourism Development Board to finalize the matter.

Making the state among the top choices of the hikers, Karnataka already possesses seven trails, namely Siddarabetta, Avalabetta, Makalidurga, Skandagiri, Deverayanadurga, Savanadurga and Bidarakatte. Developed in 2017, these trails continue to lure tourists even today, boosting the adventure tourism of Karnataka.

Abode to several ancient temples, verdant forests and stunning landscapes, Karnataka is one of the most beautiful and tranquil destinations of India, which attracts tourists from all over the world. Keeping up with the theme of Karnataka Tourism- “Script your Adventure”, these trails are expected to augment the tourism of the region. Visitors will be able to catch glimpse of architectural ruins, wild forests and pilgrimage sites through the trails.
