According to a recent survey by Airbnb, Kerala is at the top of the list of top 20 global trending destinations for 2020. The South Indian state of Kerala has seen an increase of 95% in bookings in 2019 for 2020, as compared to the bookings done in 2018 for 2019.
The achievement of Kerala, God’s Own Country can be attributed to the town’s awe-inspiring natural diversity, which comprises palm-lined shores, sprawling coffee plantations, mesmerizing Arabian Sea view, languid backwaters, mouth-watering cuisine, vibrant culture, beautiful art forms, and much more.
The other destinations on the list are from countries like the USA, Spain, Thailand, Australia, etc. It is important to note that all the destinations are eco-conscious sites. Further, it has been reported by the online portal that the most trending destinations are places that will be hosting some grand events in the upcoming year, like the 2020 Mars Exploration Program in Cape Canaveral (USA), the surfing competitions in Ubatuba of Brazil, Bilbao in Spain, Sunbury in Australia, Buriram in Thailand, Luxembourg and Romania in Europe, Eugene and Cape Canaveral in US, Vanuatu in Oceania Xi’an in China, Cali in Colombia, Courtenay in Canada, Les Contamines-Montjoie in France, Tokyo in Japan, Malindi in Kenya, Maastricht in the Netherlands and Aberdeen in Scotland.
