Two eco-tourism sites announced by Telangana at Nalgonda, Mancherial

A note has been dropped by the state government to develop two new eco-tourism sites in the artistic locations of Telangana. The Telangana State Forest Development Corporation is set to develop the projects on a public-private partnership mode, which will also give a boost to employment and revenue generation.

Vizag Colony in Nalgonda and Chintaguda in Mancherial are supposed to multiple things like ethnic cottages, restaurants along with boating and safaris. It has been foretold that these sites can generate up to 30 lakhs for the state and even more over the years.

“Tenders will be floated after surveys are completed by the state at both sites. We hope to start work in another four months, depending on the response to tenders. ”, mentioned Assistant Director of eco-tourism, TSFDC. Ms. Madhavi also commented that these circuits can be added along with one day and two day tours for tourists.
