A tour that covers the hustle of North India, and the calm of South India, is one that everyone should take. The tour starts from the National Capital Territory of India, Delhi, where you can explore the streets of Old and New Delhi, and witness the monuments from the time of both Royals and the British. Next, you get to visit the romantic city of Agra to see the famous TajMahal. Moving on, you get to visit the royal pink city of Jaipur, filled with beauty all around. Next, you move towards the south India, in Kochi, to experience the famous Easter Festival, with a Kerala twist. You also get to visit the beautiful city famous for its tea, Munnar, followed by cruising in a houseboat in Alleppey. Lastly, you get to visit the famous city of Goa, for a few days full of relaxation, and leisure. This leisure trip is a perfect to celebrate your Easter holidays in India.

Day 01 Arrival in Delhi.

Upon arrival, you will be met by one of our representatives, who will escort you to your hotel. After checking in, you will have the rest of the day to yourself, so you can either rest, or go on a little exploration of your own.

Delhi has been the official capital since, 1911, when the British Raj still prevailed, and was even earlier of great importance for emperors. And several proofs since hundreds of years ago, have been left as their marks. Be it the Red Fort and Jama Masjid in Old Delhi or the QutubMinar and India Gate in New Delhi, the capital has a rich history, and therefore an extremely famous tourist destination. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Delhi.

Day 02 Sightseeing of Delhi

Today, post breakfast, your adventure in Delhi commences. You can start the trip with Old Delhi, covering the beautiful Red Fort, Mahatma Gandhi’s cremation point and memorial- Raj Ghat, Jama Masjid, and even explore the streets of Chandani Chowk. After lunch, you can start the tour of New Delhi, making your way through Humanyu’s Tomb from the Mugha era, and India Gate, Presidents House and the Parliament Street dating back to the British reign period. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Delhi.

Day 03 Delhi to Agra by road.

After breakfast, you depart for the city of Agra. Upon arrival, you will be checked in at the hotel, and have the rest of the afternoon for yourself. In the evening, you can watch the famous show- “Mohabbat: the Taj Show”, a Bollywood style dance performance that depicts the romantic story behind the making of the TajMahal. Please check with us for making the reservation for the same.

Agra is one of the most romantic cities, solely due to it being the home to one of the new seven wonders of the world- the TajMahal, and the history behind it. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan, the monument took almost two decades, and was built to house the tomb of the king’s most beloved wife, MumtazMahal. Today innumerable tourists visit this city on a regular basis. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Agra.

Note: TajMahal is closed on Fridays.

Day 04 Agra to Jaipur by road.

Taj Mahal is best seen during the sunrise, and you can do exactly that. No trip to anywhere near Agra is complete without witnessing the Taj, anyway, so this is a must. After breakfast, you will depart for the Pink City of Jaipur, over a 4 hours long ride, visiting Fatehpur Sikri en route. In Fatehpur Sikri, you can witness the majestic Buland Darwaza. Post arrival in Jaipur, you will be checked in at the hotel, and have the rest of the day to yourself.

Jaipur, or the Pink city, is known as such due to its signature pink hued old buildings, and even monuments like Hawa Mahal, or the Palace of Wind. There are several other royal era monuments and places to visit, including the City Palace, and Amer Fort. The several markets will make you fall in love with their spectacular artifacts. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Jaipur.

Day 05 Sightseeing of Jaipur

After breakfast, you can start your sightseeing tour of the Pink City. You will start from Amer Fort, located just outside the city, followed by the beautiful City Palace in the afternoon. Later, you will visit the famous Jantar Mantar. Jantar Mantar is an astronomical observatory used to measure the distances and positions of celestial objects. Day 06 Jaipur to Kochi by flight.

Today, you will depart for the city of Kochi. In time you will be driven to the airport to board your flight bound to Kochi. Post arrival, you will be checked in at the hotel. After some rest, you can visit the Mattancherry Place, followed by the Jewish Synagogue and Chinese Fishing nets. In the evening, you can enjoy one of the famous Kathakali performances in an auditorium. ‘Kathakali’, an important genre in the Indian classical dance form, is associated with storytelling form of this art. It is the dance drama from the south Indian state of Kerala.

Kochi is a city in the state of Kerala, and has been functioning as a port since as long as 1341, i.e., the 14th century. It is known for the famous Chinese fishing nets, apart from other famous sites like Fort Kochi. Easter is celebrated with a great enthusiasm, among other festivals, in the city. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Kochi.

Day 07 Kochi - Easter Festival

Post breakfast, you can indulge in the Easter festivities. Easter is a greatly celebrated festival in Kochi, in fact, all of Kerala, and isn’t just a long holiday for most. After celebrating Good Friday and Holy Saturday, the real celebrations begin on Easter eve, with the commemoration of resurrection of Jesus. In the morning, people usually visit church, beginning the celebration with wine and cake. There are a variety of traditional dishes that are made especially in the honor of Easter, from appam, to egg curry, to chicken and even duck. Several events are organized all over the city, and you have the opportunity to experience them all! Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Kochi.

Day 08 Kochi to Munnar by road

Post breakfast, you will leave for the city of Munnar. After checking in at the hotel, you will have the rest of the day for leisure. You can enjoy a cup of locally produced tea, while relaxing. Or explore the neighboring areas.

Located in Kerala, Munnar is known for being surrounded by several tea plantations, producing some of the finest quality teas, and Eravikulam National Park, which has the famous LakkamWaterfalls. People usually visit Munnar for hiking as well, at the Anamudi Peak. Munnar used to be a British elite resort, during the British Raj. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Munnar.

Day 09 Sightseeing of Munnar

After a hearty breakfast, you can start with a sightseeing trip of Munnar. Starting from the Mettupatty Dam, you can make your way towards Eravikulam National Park, and take a safari amidst the wildlife. Later, you can visit one of the many tea plantations of Munnar, and get a glimpse at how the process of getting a heart cup of tea starts. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Munnar.

Day 10 Munnar to Kumarakom by road.

After breakfast, you will leave for the city of Kumarakom, known for its famous lake as well as backwaters. After checking in, you will have the rest of the day for leisure. You can relax today in your hotel, or explore a bit. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Kumarakom.

Day 11 Kumarakom to Alleppey by road

Post breakfast, you will leave for Alleppey Jetty, where you will board a lavish houseboat. Cruising in a house boat is an experience of its own, and you can see the city life passing by, with the several village locals sell their products, people catching fishes and so many other beautiful views. Indulge yourself in the various delicious local dishes, as you enjoy your ride. Overnight stay will be at the houseboat on the backwaters.

Day 12 Alleppey to Kochi by road. Later flight to Goa

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kochi by road, from where you will board a flight to Goa. After arrival, you will get checked in at the hotel, and have the rest of the day for leisure.

Goa is a beautiful city, once reigned by the Portuguese. With its churches dating back to the 17th century, Goa is also known for the various beautiful beaches and an incomparable night life. Every year millions of people visit Goa, and is known to be one of the most famous places among tourists. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Goa.

Day 13 Explore Goa

You will have the day for relaxation, and you can explore the city at your own pace. Mingle with the locals, relax at the beach or visit the famous places, it’s up to you. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Goa.

Day 14 Sightseeing of Goa

You will have the day for relaxation, and you can explore the city at your own pace. You can go for local street shopping or visit the famous churches or the local sightseeing sights. Relax by the seaside and witness the setting sun. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Goa.

Day 15 Goa to Mumbai by flight.

After breakfast, you will board a flight to Mumbai, from where you will board one to your next destination, marking an end to this relaxing and amazing tour.
