Built up of red sandstone, the splendid fort was established by Raja Man Singh. The fort is split into 4 sections, each with a courtyard. The main entrance gate of the fort is Surajpol, which has marvelous architecture. There lays a temple dedicated to Goddess Sila Devi near another gate (Ganesh Gate) of the fort. Moreover, the fort contains several beautiful structures that are worth exploring. Some of the major ones are Diwan-e-Aam (hall of public audience), Diwan-e-Khas (hall of private audience), and Sheesh Mahal (palace of mirrors).

In the afternoon, you will visit Maharaja City Palace, a royal palace with seven storeys and Jantar Mantar, the observatory. This wonderful observatory attracts mathematicians as well as astronomers of the whole world. The City Palace features a fusion of three different architectural styles – Mughal, Rajput, and European. Another famous tourist attraction is the Hawa Mahal. Next, you will pass through the pink rose garden and business centers of Jaipur. A visit to Jaipur is incomplete without shopping. The town is popular for clothes, carpets, jewelry, handicrafts, and silk paintings, and miniature paintings, precious and semi-precious gemstones.
