Old Delhi is a maze of small lanes and old buildings while New Delhi has a large road with huge buildings.

Afternoon visit of New Delhi – You will visit the historic Qutub Minar which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the tallest minaret in India which was constructed by Qutub-Ud-Din Aibak in the twelfth century. Thereafter you will visit Humayun’s Tomb, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a peaceful place where one can spend some peaceful moments marveling at the beauty of the place. Afterward, you can visit the India Gate which is a war memorial dedicated to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the protection of the nation from enemies. Later, you will pass through the Parliament House, President’s House, and other Government Secretarial Buildings, and the final stop will be Lakshmi Narayan Temple, a temple dedicated to Lakshmi and Lord Narayana.

Start the day with an early morning tour to Master Ji Ki Haveli through the markets of Old

Delhi. This tour will help to explore the riches of the city: culture, heritage, history and gastronomy in a fun and exciting way. The tour includes exploring the streets of Delhi on foot and by rickshaw. The tour will take you through the narrow streets and bazaars of old Delhi, where one can see and know the basic ingredients used in traditional Indian meals.

The route covers:

Heritage & Bazaar Walk, Cycle rickshaw ride, few hidden treasures, some street food tasting for those who feel adventurous, a complimentary meal in a haveli (an old private mansion in the old city in which a single-family is living from generations)

Later proceed for the city tour of Delhi. Visit the major attractions of the Old Delhi which was constructed by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the seventeenth century. Visit of Raj Ghat, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation. Thereafter, visit the museum dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi where e to witness various relics and attractions dedicated to him. Then drive to visit Jama Masjid (Jama Mosque) (passing by two gems of Delhi, Red Fort and Chandni Chowk). Red Fort is a famous monument constructed entirely out of red stone whereas Chandni Chowk is one of the busiest markets of Old Delhi. Jama mosque was built by Shah Jahan and is one of the biggest mosques in India. A short rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk could be quite interesting as this part of the city is quite crowded as it is full of shops. The region is a shopper’s paradise as here tourists can find almost everything and can also enjoy local delicacies.

You will return to the hotel for having some rest.

In the evening you will proceed to enjoy the show at the Kingdom of Dreams in Gurgaon.

Breakfast will be served at the hotel and proceed to visit Akshardham Temple. Akshardham is a Hindu temple complex in Delhi, India. Also called Akshardham Temple or Swaminarayan Akshardham, the temple complex represents traditional Hindu and Indian culture, spirituality, and architecture. The building was inspired and developed by Pramukh Swami Maharaj, the spiritual head of the Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha, whose 3,000 volunteers helped 7,000 artisans construct Akshardham.

Then proceed for Lotus Temple, which is a Bahá’í temple shaped like the lotus flower and has won numerous architectural awards. Like all other Bahá’í Houses of Worship, this temple is open to all regardless of religion, or any other distinction. The Bahá’í laws highlight that the spirit of the House of Worship is that it is a gathering place where people of all religions may worship God, irrespective of any differences. The Bahá’í laws say that not only the holy scriptures of the Bahá’í Faith but those of other religions can also be read or chanted inside in any language; while readings and prayers can be performed by choirs, no musical instruments can be played inside. Furthermore, no sermons can be delivered, and no ritualistic ceremonies can be practiced inside the temple complex.

Later visit the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is one of the most prominent Sikh gurdwara, or Sikh house of worship, in Delhi and known for its association with the eighth Sikh Guru, Guru Har Krishan.

Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan gets its name from Maharaja Jai Singh who built this city.

There are several palaces in Jaipur, which boast of the marvelous architecture and narrate a lot about the glorious past. In the 18th century, Prince of Wales had visited Jaipur and the entire city was painted in pink color due to which this city is also known as the pink city. The origin of Jaipur goes back to more than 260 years.

Built up of red sandstone, the splendid fort was established by Raja Man Singh. The fort is split into 4 sections, each with a courtyard. The main entrance gate of the fort is Surajpol, which has marvelous architecture. There lays a temple dedicated to Goddess Sila Devi near another gate (Ganesh Gate) of the fort. Moreover, the fort contains several beautiful structures that are worth exploring. Some of the major ones are Diwan-e-Aam (hall of public audience), Diwan-e-Khas (hall of private audience), and Sheesh Mahal (palace of mirrors).

Anokhi Museum (Optional) of Hand printing is nestled in a beautiful mansion from the 16th century. Housing an excellent collection of both traditional and contemporary textiles made using a variety of different techniques.

In the afternoon, you will visit Maharaja City Palace, a royal palace with seven storeys and Jantar Mantar, the observatory. This wonderful observatory attracts mathematicians as well as astronomers of the whole world. The City Palace features a fusion of three different architectural styles – Mughal, Rajput, and European. Another famous tourist attraction is the Hawa Mahal. Next, you will pass through the pink rose garden and business centers of Jaipur. A visit to Jaipur is incomplete without shopping. The town is popular for clothes, carpets, jewelry, handicrafts, and silk paintings, and miniature paintings, precious and semi-precious gemstones.

Known for its unique art of Block Printing, Bagru is a small town in the outskirts of Jaipur which has emerged as one of the industrial areas for textile printing in Rajasthan with over 100 cottage scale workshops. While traveling to Rajasthan, there is no parallel to seeing Artists at work and learn an age-old art they have been practicing over generations. Block Printing is an art of printing natural colors on different fabrics using finely carved ‘designer’ wooden blocks. The art involves multiple processes like Washing, Color making, Block making, Reverse printing, Multiple printing, boiling, drying, etc.

During the Workshop, first, take a village tour visiting different houses where each family is engaged in one of the processes of Block printing. Then, try our skills to make a beautiful block printed fabric using designer blocks under the supervision of Master artisan.

Continue the drive towards Fatehpur Sikri.

Arrive Fatehpur Sikri– It is a fortified city, which was built by Mughal Emperor Akbar in the 16th century. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city has several historic monuments, which exhibit Mughal magnificence. Some of the popular structures include the Tomb of Salim Chishti, the five-storied Panch Mahal, Buland Darwaza, etc. the city is a central portico having three entrance gates, and is called Horseshoe Gate. You can also explore other edifices such as Ibadat Khana, Mariam-uz-Zamani’s Palace, Naubat Khana, and Birbal’s House.

Agra the former capital of Hindustan is a city on the banks of the river Yamuna. Agra is one of the major tourist destinations in India.
