Day 01 Arrive at Bangalore. Tour of important places in Bangalore.

Upon your arrival at the Bangalore airport, you will get transferred to your hotel. Relax muscles and freshen. Bangalore is the capital of Karnataka. It is also known as the “Silicon Valley of India”, due to the presence of major high-tech industries. It is also known for its bustling nightlife and parks.

The first stop will be the Lal Bagh. It is beautiful garden consisting of a variety of flora. It has shrubs, bonsais, roses, and blossom trees. It also has a famous glasshouse and a fountain in the garden. On Independence Day and Republic Day, it has a beautiful display of rose. The next location you will be visiting is the Cubbon Park. It is a vibrant park. People who visit this location fall in love with the city of Bangalore. It has huge gardens, walking paths, a library, and open stages for drama. Many open poetry, dramas, and dog shows take place here. The next destination will be the Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace. The palace is known for its elegant architectural design and beautiful gardens. The palace was the summer home of the Mughal Emperor Tipu Sultan. The next location will be the ISKCON temple. It is a famous temple for Lord Krishna. Day 02 Arrive at Mysore. Tour of important places in Mysore.

Wake up to a healthy breakfast at your hotel and head out for a marvelous journey to Mysore. Mysore was the capital of the Kingdom of Mysore. It is now called as the “cultural capital of Karnataka”. It was ruled by the Wadiyars and Mughal for a long period of time.

The first stop will be the Mysore Palace. The palace is an Indo-Saracenic palace that comprises of a durbar hall. It is surrounded by the Chamundi Hills. It was the royal residence of the rulers of Wadiyar dynasty. The next stop is the Chamundeshwari Temple. The temple is situated on the Chamundi hills. It is dedicated to the Hindi Goddess Durga or Chamundeshwari. The next location you will visit is the Brindavan Gardens. It is sited along the Krishnaragasagar Dam. It consists of several fountains and terraced gardens. Post tour, overnight at the hotel.

Day 03 Tour of other important places in Mysore. Arrive at Ooty.

Today after breakfast, the day is at leisure. You can cover other places of interest that include Jaganmohan Palace, Krishnaragasagar Dam, St. Philomena’s Cathedral, Karanji Lake, and much more.

The Jaganmohan palace is a royal palace used by the Wadiyars. It was built in 1861. Now, it consists of marvelous paintings, carvings, and artworks that provide an insight over the city’s history. The Krishnaragasagar Dam was built in the 1911 over the river Kaveri. It offers a great view from the top. Here, you can go boat riding across the lake as well. The St. Philomena’s Cathedral is also called the “cathedral of the Diocese”. It has a Neo-Gothic architectural style. The cathedra comprises of a sanctuary, spires, and large stained glasses. The Karanji Lake is a huge 222 acre lake. It consists of a butterfly park and India’s largest walk-through aviary. It also a museum situated that provides an insight of great artworks. Post tour, in the evening you will get transferred to Ooty, where you will check into your new hotel.

Day 04 Tour of important places in Ooty.

Post breakfast, head out for an amazing tour across Ooty. Ooty is also known as Udhagamandalam. It is beautiful place for all wanderlusts and nature lovers. It is surrounded by roses, lakes, hills, and valleys.

The first stop will be the Ooty Lake. The serene lake offers many activities for tourists such as boating and rowing. It also has a majestic boathouse. The lake covers an area of 65 acres. The next stop will be the St. Stephen’s Church. It is one of the oldest churches with intricate features. It consists of tall stained-glass windows and infamous painting of the “Last Supper”. The next location you will cover is Doddabetta. It is a high elevated mountain across which you can trek and hike. It has a forest preserve and a telescope observatory. On top of the mountain, you can get a panoramic view of the city and the surrounding Nilgiri Mountain. Post journey, overnight at your hotel.

Day 05 Arrive at Bangalore.

Early in the morning, reach Bangalore from Ooty by road. On arrival, get transferred to airport for your onward journey.

Day 06 Arrive at Colombo.

On reaching Bangalore airport, get transferred to Colombo, Sri Lanka. Upon your arrival in Colombo, get transferred to your new hotel in Negambo where you can relax.

Day 07 Arrive at Kandy. Visit the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage.

Wake up to a healthy breakfast at your hotel. Here, visit the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. The place is for breeding of the mighty wild Asian elephants. It is also a place where orphan or hurt elephants are taken care. It was established by the Sri Lanka Department of Wildlife. Then, get transferred to Kandy through the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 08 Tour of important places in Kandy.

After breakfast, head out for an amazing Kandy city tour. Kandy is the largest city in central Sri Lanka. It consists of rainforests, mountains, and tea and coffee plantations. The first stop will be at the Kandy Lake. It is also known as the “Kiri Muhuda” or “Sea of Milk”. It is an artificial lake that is sited along a temple with Buddha’s tooth. It is an exquisite location to visit for an early morning jog or walk. The next stop will be at the Temple of the Tooth, which was sited along Kandy Lake. The temple has the canine tooth of Buddha. It is located in the royal palace of Kandy Kingdom. The next destination you will cover is the National Museum of Kandy. Day 09 Arrive NuweraEliya. Tour at NuweraEliya.

Post breakfast, head out for NuweraEliya. The name means “City on the Plain” or the “City of Light”. It has a picturesque view and wonderful climate. It also has various temple and shrines. The first stop is at the Lake Gregory. It is a reservoir that is sited along tea plantations and hills offering a scenic view. The next stop is at the Victoria Park that has many indigenous flora and birds. It also has a pond and a ground for people to relax and chill. The next destination you will be covering is the Lover’s Leap Waterfall. You can go hiking across this location. It also offers views of tea plantations and the city. Other famous landmarks include Pedro Tea Factory, Hakgala, Mackwoods Tea Museum, Hakgala Botanical Garden, Moon Plains, and much more. Post journey, overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 10 Arrive at Bentota. Tour of important places at Bentota.

Wake up to some delicious breakfast and head out for Bentota. It is a coastal town in Sri Lanka situated on bank of River Bentota. It has several watersports that make it an attractive tourist destination.

The first stop is at the Ventura Beach. The beach offers scenic and panoramic views for sunrises and sunsets. The next stop is at the Kosgoda Sea Turtle Conservation Project. The first stop is at Pettah neighborhood. It is a famous commercial street open for shopping. It has wide bazaars and markets. The next stop is at the Galle Face Green. The place is a modern park located alongside the ocean. It has a long stretch of coast that offers great views for tourists. It is located in the business capital Colombo. The next destination you will cover is the Gangaramaya Buddhist Temple. The temple consists of Buddha statues with artifacts. Then you will arrive at the Viharamahadevi Park. The park is the largest and oldest park in Sri Lanka. It has a zoo, walking trails, fountains, and gardens. Then you will head out to the National Museum of Colombo.
