Spirituality is one of the most important part of all religions. 14 Nights/ 15 days Narmada Parikrama covers all the pilgrimage cities which are located on the bank Narmada River. This tour begins from the starting point of Narmada River from Amarkantak to ending point the Gulf of Khambhat in Arabian Sea. Narmada is one of the seven holy rivers of India and its length is more than 1300kms crossing over 03 largest states Madhya Pradesh, Maharastra, and Gujrat. It is also known as the lifeline of Madhya Pradesh and Gujrat states. In this tour, you will be covering more than 3500km and will visit some most important sacred cities like Amarkantak, Omkareshwar, Maheshwar, Ujjain, Ankleshwar, Jabalpur and Baruch, and etc.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Indore & Indore - Visit Omkareshwar Temple by road (80kms/ 2-2hrs approx.)

Your spiritual journey starts from once you arrive at Indore airport or railway station. On your arrival, you will meet with our office representative and he will give you a detailed briefing of your Narmada Parikarma tour.
Later you will transfer by road to Omkareshwar, which is 80kms south from Indore city. Omkareshwar is famous for its one of the 12th Jyotirlingas, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
On arrival, you will check-in your hotel.
Later you can have a holy dip in Narmada river and make your way to Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga Temple and have a Darshan and attend the prayer at the Temple.
After visiting the temple return back to the hotel.
Overnight Omkareshwar

Day 2: Omkareshwar - Barwani - Shahada by road (270kms/ 6-7hrs approx.)

Post breakfast you will drive Shahada (Maharastra) which is located 270kms west from Omkareshwar. En-route you will be visiting the holy temples at Barwani.
After lunch, you will continue to drive to Shahada.
On arrival, you will check-in your hotel and relax.
Later you will have a short visit to nearby village called Prakashi village, it is also known as Dakshin Kashi. Here you will find numbers of Shiva temples. After visiting the temples, return to your hotel.

Day 3: Shahada - Ankleshwar Temple by road (240kms/ 6-7hrs approx.)

Post breakfast you will drive by road to Ankleshwar. Ankleshwar is located in Baruch district of Gujrat and it is famous for its industrial town called GIDC (Gujrat industrial Devolvement corporations)
On arrival, you will check-in your hotel and later you will be visiting famous Jain temples and later you will be visiting Vamleshwar Katpur, which is an important part of the Narmada Parikrama tour. This palace is cuddled on the meeting point of River Narmada and the Arabian Sea. If time permits, you can participate in evening prayer at Ankleshwar.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 4: Ankleshwar - Bharuch - Kukshi by road (300kms/ 6-7hrs approx.)

Post breakfast you will drive to Kukshi and en-route you will be visiting Bharuch. Here you will spend some time close to Narmada River.
Later you will be taken Vimleshwar by boat and conflux some water in the river which you have carried from Omkareshwar. It is said that you need to fill half bottle of water from here.
After paying your regards move back to Baruch and continue your drive to Kukshi which is 280kms north from here.
On arrival you will check-in your hotel – rest of the day free.
Overnight at Kukshi.

Day 5: Kukshi - Maheshwar by road (380kms/ 7-8hrs approx.)

Post breakfast drives early morning to Maheshwar. This is a beautiful temple town located on the bank of Narmada River. It is known for its spiritual importance, has lots of temples and forts which attract lots of tourists around the year.
On arrival, you will check-in your hotel and visit some important tourist palaces like Maheshwar fort and temples like Sahastrajun temple, Baneshwar Temple, Ek Mukhi Datta Temple.

Day 6: Maheswar - Khategaon by road (190kms /3-4hrs approx.)

Early morning you can spend some time on Maheshwar Ghat and enjoy the boat ride with a holy dip in Narmada River.
Post breakfast check-out from your hotel and drive by road to Kahategaon. On arrival, you will check-in your hotel and later visit Nemawar. Here you will be visiting Renuka Mata Temple, Balmukund Seva Aashram, which is near to Nemawar Ghat. Evening spent the quality time on Narmada Ghat and attends the prayer ceremony,
Overnight at Khategon hotel.

Day 7: Khategoan - Bareli by road (180kms/ 3-4hrs approx.)

Post breakfast check-out from your hotel and drive by road to Bareli which is 180 km east from Khategoan. On arrival you will check-in your hotel and relax. Later visit some nearby temples and visit local markets.
Overnight at Hotel.

Day 8: Bareli - Udaipura - Jabalpur by road (200kms/ 4-5hrs approx.)

Post breakfast you will drive by road to Jabalpur, which is 200kms east from Khategaon. It is one of the most important city of the states and also known as the cultural capital of Madhya Pradesh. Here you will get to see pilgrim places, wildlife, and historical monuments. En-route you will be visiting Dhuandhar falls and Bhedaghat.
On arrival, you will check –in your hotel. Later you will be visiting Chausat Yogini Temple, Gwari Ghat, and Madan Mohan fort.
Overnight Jabalpur

Day 9: Jabalpur - Shahdol - Visit Amarkantak Temple by road (290kms/ 7- 8hrs approx.)

Post breakfast you will drive by road to Amarkantak. En-route you will visit Virateshwar temple at Shahdol. This is an ancient Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva
Later continue drive to Amarkantak. Amarkantak is the oldest pilgrim town in India and it is located 300kms east from Jabalpur near to Chattishgarh state border. This entire town is surrounding by beautiful hills and wildlife sanctuary. Amarkantak is also a source of Narmada River where Sone and Narmada River merge together. On arrival, you will check-in your hotel and relax.
Then you will be visiting nearby temples, Narmada Kund, and the Kapildhara waterfall and spend some time surrounding the Narmada Ghat and temples.
Overnight Amarkantak

Day 10: Amarkantak - Mandla by road (200kms/ 4-5hrs approx.)

Morning holy dip is Narmada Kund and then you will be visiting Maa Ki Bagiya Temple and perform pooja.
Return to hotel for breakfast and after breakfast check-out from you and visit nearby temples Shri Yanta Mandir, Ancient temple of Kalachuri, Durga Dhara, Kabir Sarovar, and Chabutara.
After lunch you will be drive by road Mandwa which is 200kms west from Amarkantak. On arrival, you will check-in your hotel and relax.
Overnight at Mandla.

Day 11: Mandla - Narsinghpur by road (160kms/ 3-4hrs)

Post breakfast you will be visiting nearby temple and Mandla fort, Moti Mahal, Vishnu Temple etc.
Later check-out and drive by road to Narsinghpur. On arrival you will check-in your hotel and visit some nearby temple as planned Overnight Narsinghpur

Day 12: Narsinghpur - Hoshangabad by road (180kms/ 4-5hrs approx.)

After breakfast drive by road to Hoshangabad which is 180kms west from Narsingpur and 80kms south from the capital city Bhopal. Hoshanagabad is near to
Satpura Tiger Reserve. Hoshangabad is also known as Narmadapuram and this is located near Narmada River and it is famous for its beautiful Ghat on Narmada river. On arrival, you will check-in your hotel and later spend some time on Sethani Ghat, which is a major tourist attraction of Hoshangabad. You can also visit some nearby temples.
Overnight at Hoshangabad.

Day 13: Hoshangabad - Omkareshwar by road (250kms/ 5-6hrs approx.)

Early morning you can attend the prayer ceremony.
Post breakfast check-out from your hotel and drive by road Omkareshwar. On arrival you will check-in your hotel. Later visit Omkareshwar Jyotilingas Temple, Mamleshwar Temple, and Siddanath Temple.
Overnight at Omkareshwar.

Day 14: Omkareshwar - Ujjain Temple by road (140kms/ 4-5hrs approx.)

Early morning you can attend the prayer ceremony.
Post breakfast check-out from your hotel and drive by road Omkareshwar. On arrival you will check-in your hotel. Later visit Omkareshwar Jyotilingas Temple, Mamleshwar Temple, and Siddanath Temple.
Overnight at Omkareshwar.

Day 15: Ujjain  Indore airport /Railway station drop

Early morning you can attend the famous Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga and be a part of the Bhasma Aarti.
Post breakfast check-out from your hotel and transfer to Indore railway or airport in time for your onwards destination.
