Day 01 Touch Down for the tour of Delhi

As you touch down on Indian soil, Delhi to be precise, our courteous representative will be on hand to receive you and subsequently take you to your hotel. They call Delhi the “City of Cities” because of its continuous destruction and reconstruction in the past.

The morning is for visiting the Raj Ghat—where the remains of Mahatma Gandhi were cremated, including a museum in his honor. A visit to Jama Masjid ( one of the largest mosques in India), you will also be driving past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. One can see and enjoy the flavorsome street food on the streets of Old Delhi. The market is also famous for clothes and jewelry.

The afternoon tour will be a visit to Qutub Minar, Humayun’s tomb, and India Gate. As you travel around India gate, you’ll get to see the Parliament House, President’s House, including other Secretarial Buildings. The final stop will be the Lakshminarayan Temple. Overnight is at a hotel in Delhi.

Day 02 Tour of Mandawa from Delhi

You’ll go by road to Mandawa from Delhi. You’ll visit Shekhawati villages with painted havelis( mansions). The locals, the Marwaris, were noted to be very influential business people and migrated to bigger cities in search of wealth. Large structures were erected in the villages to tell their success story, painting their houses and mansions.

These villages, which are Mandawa, Nawalgarh, Dundlod, etc, are full of beautiful fresco areas, the area was coined “The Open Art Gallery”. The fresco painting depicts mythological images of gods, goddess, and animals. Overnight is in a hotel in Mandawa.

Day 03 Tour of Pushkar from Mandawa by Road

The trip to Pushkar begins from Mandawa, which is by road. Pushkar is known to the Hindus as a sacred place and also the oldest existing cities in India. The camel fair here will thrill you—thousands of camels and cattle exchange hands for money. The Fair takes place sometime in October or November. After your arrival and check in at the hotel, you will visit the sacred Pushkar Lake and the only Brahma temple in the world. Overnight in a hotel in Pushkar.

Day 04 Tour of Pushkar from Jaipur by Road

The journey to Jaipur begins from Pushkar. Jaipur is otherwise referred to as the Pink City, which is the capital of Rajasthan. There are several palaces with stunning designs, and the architecture is amazing. The name Pink City was given to the city because when the Prince of Wales visited in the 18th century, the city was painted pink. Jaipur was named after Maharaja Jai Singh. Enjoy a visit to the bazaar and the colorful streets. Overnight in a hotel in Jaipur.

Day 05 Tour of Pushkar from Mandawa by Road

In the morning, you’ll travel from Amer fort, which was the then capital of Jaipur. This Rajasthan Tour with Khajuraho & Varanasi will avail you the opportunity to see Surajpol, the main entrance gate to Amer Fort. You’ll also see Ganesh Gate, where you’ll find a temple dedicated to Goddess Silva Devi. Other historic places for sightseeing are The Diwan-e-Aam - hall of public audience, Diwan-e-Khas - hall of private audience, Sheesh Mahal, etc.

While in Jaipur, you’ll visit the Maharaja City Palace and Jantar Mantar, the observatory. Other places of interest are Hawa mahal( Palace of Wind) and the Garden. Shopping is strongly suggested as the city is known for clothes, precious stones, etc. Overnight in a hotel in Jaipur.

Day 06 Travel from Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri to Agra

Your holiday continues in the morning as Rajasthan Tour with Khajuraho takes you on a journey from Jaipur to Agra through Fatehpur Sikri (UNESCO World heritage site with historical monuments). Again, Jama Masjid, Tomb SalimChishti, PanchMahal, and the monument of Buland Darwaza will be visited. Other places of interest to visit are Ibadat Khana, Mariam-uz-Zamani's palace, NaubatKhana and Birbal's house. The afternoon will be at Agra, including an overnight stay there.

Day 07 Tour of Agra

Agra is a popular destination in India and the former capital of Hindustan is situated right on the banks of river Yamuna. You will visit the breathtaking Taj Mahal, the monument popularly known as the monument of love. Now included as the Seven Wonders of the Modern World, Taj Mahal, is an iconic structure that commands attention. The next visit on the list is the Agra Fort, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can opt for shopping in the afternoon or visit other interesting places. Overnight in a hotel in Agra.

Day 08 Travel to Jhansi from Agra by train and to Khajuraho by road

This day you will be transferred to Jhansi by train from the Agra rail station. From Jhansi, you’ll be driven to Khajuraho. While in Khajuraho, you’ll be checked in. The erotic temples for what Khajuraho is popularly known for, are beautiful and mesmerizing. The name " Khajuraho" originates from khajur trees (date trees). Overnight in Khajuraho.

Day 09 Tour of Khajuraho & later overnight train to Varanasi

This morning you will visit unique and wonderful temples of Khajuraho. Sightseeing of Khajuraho will take you to UNESCO world heritage sites in Khajuraho that is a group of Jain, Buddhist and Hindu temples. You will tour the Bharatji or Chitragupta temple and Chaunsat Yogini Kali temple. This is made or composed of 11 headed sculpture of Lord Vishnu. These temples are world famous for their nagara-style architectural symbols and their erotic sculptures. Only Jain temple that exists today is called Parsvanath Temple. Javeri Temple is only dedicated to the Lord Vishnu (Hindu God). There are a lot of Hindu temples that are dedicated to Lord Adinath and Lord Bharma. Check-out from the hotel is at 1200 hrs. In the evening you will be transferred to the railway station to board an overnight train to Varanasi.Overnight is on the train.

Highlights: Khajuraho- visit the Chaunset Yogini Kali temple, Chitragupta temple, Lakshmana temple, Mahadev temple, Nandi and Vishvanath temple, Siva’s Visha temple and Parasvanath temple.

Day 10 Sightseeing of Varanasi

This morning you arrived in Varanasi and you will directly get transferred to a hotel. You have a free day to discover Sarnath - a Buddhist shrine, where Gautama Buddha (Buddhism founder) first taught dharma to the peoples. In the evening, we suggest you watch the prayer rituals at River Ganges Banks. Varanasi, also called Banaras and Kashi, is the oldest city in the world and existed before even before Rome. This is the land of culture and spiritual world. Therefore, this city is also known as city of temples, the holy city of India and oldest living city on earth. Overnight is in Varanasi.

Day 11 Tour of Varanasi & later overnight train to Delhi.

Enjoy the early morning boat excursion on River Ganges Ghats. Manikarnika bank and Harishchandra banks are the most renowned banks that are frequently visited by hundreds of devotees. These ghats( river banks) are not only famous for a holy dip but also famous for cremation purposes. Since, Hindus believe death is the salvation of life and this city is the center of all cremation purposes in India, you may witness funeral pyres burning around the banks of Ganges. Check-out from the hotel is at 1200 hrs. Afternoon is at leisure and later in the evening, transfer to railway station in time to board the train for Delhi. Overnight is on the train.

Day 12 Destination Delhi

You’ll be taken to the hotel ( if early check in is possible) in the morning hours as soon as you arrive from your travel. Day 13 Departure

Today marks the end of your tour. In time you’ll be transferred to the airport to board the plane back to your destination.
