The Kanha National Park was converted into the Kanha Tiger Reserve in the year 1974 with the launching of Project Tiger. The move was made to protect and conserve the diminishing tiger population. Thus the whole National Park is a protected area to oppose tiger hunting and protect the residing tiger population. One of the most popular ones, the Bandhavgarh National Park in Umaria is famed for its wildlife diversity, and large population of tigers. It is an unmissable attraction that makes every moment spent there worth it.

On the first day, you will arrive in Delhi. Here you will be welcomed at the airport and taken to your hotel for an overnight stay before leaving for Kanha Tiger Reserve the next morning. While you are in Delhi, a special sightseeing of Delhi can be arranged with respect to your arrival timings. Experience the local cuisines of Delhi such as authentic Mughlai food in the Old Delhi, when you visit the famous Jama Majid. You can even have some pictures clicked at the magnificent Red Fort built during the Mughal Dynasty.Overnight in Delhi.
After having your breakfast, you can continue your sightseeing of Delhi by visiting New Delhi comprising monumental buildings in Lutyens’ New Delhi, President House, India Gate. From there you will go to visit iconic Qutab Minar before going to the railway station where you will catch an overnight train to Jabalpur. Overnight in the train.
Your train will reach Jabalpur early morning. After reaching Jabalpur, you will betransferred to your hotel where you can freshen up and have a hearty breakfast.Post breakfast, you will start your journey to Kanha Tiger Reserve. Once you reach there, you will check-in to your lodge there and prepare yourself for an evening game drive. According to many naturalist writers, Kanha is like the dream come true for people wanting to experience ultimate wildlife beauty. Various kinds of landscape and habitat can be found here such as Bamboo, pure and mixed Sal Forest and Grasslands. Today again you will be visit jungle for two Game Drives in the National Park. You will have accompanied by a guide on the game drive who will help you in capturing the most beautiful and picturesque spots. The guides will also help you in tracking traces of various animals and help you in spotting them rather easily. Throughout the Game Drives, you can spot various animals like tigers, leopards, wild cats, wild dogs, foxes and jackals. You can even spot Barasingha and Swamp Deers, Swamp Deers and spotted Deersamong the deer species.Amongst the reptiles you can find Indian Cobra, Indian Pythons, Krait and Vipers. Today morning after breakfast you will drive to The Bandhavgarh National Park famous for having the highest density of tiger population known in India, in its Vindhya ranges in Madhya Pradesh. Upon arrival get settled in the room. After lunch in the afternoon set off to experience the wildlife safari into the National Park. Spend the night at the resort at Bandhavgarh.
Today, spend your entire day enjoying your safaris in the tiger reserve. The tiger reserve is a beautiful lush green place, ideal for game viewing in the safari ride. Apart from tigers, you will spot Blue bulls, sloth bears, deer, Languar monkeys, and sambars. Overnight at the resort in Bandhavgarh.
After your breakfast at the hotel, get ready to drive to Khajuraho. A 230 km drive through the countryside would surely give you more insight into the rural life of Madhya Pradesh. Once you reach Khajuraho, you will check in to your hotel for stay. Stay overnight in Khajuraho.
After a wholesome breakfast, you will visit famous UNESCO site of Khajuraho. The temples built in this place have dedicated religions – Hinduism and Jainism. Khajuraho Temples also have historically significant statues and structures most of them depicting ‘Tantric Practices'. You can also see the Raneh falls as part of sightseeing in Khajuraho. The beauty of this fall is not just by its water, but rather more significant part is the rock formations. One can also go and see the Beni Sagar Dam at this place. You can also optionally add a jungle safari in Ken Ghariyal Sanctuary. After sightseeing, in the evening you will be taken to the Airport to catch a flight to Delhi. You will arrive late night and will be transferred to hotel or International airport according to your program.
