Welcome to Srinagar, India. You are at one of the most beautiful places of the country known for its picturesque nature, gardens, waterfronts and houseboats. Get received by our representative who would take you to your hotel to freshen up before starting off with your sightseeing plans.
You will be taken to the majestic Mughal Gardens and the first one to explore is Nishat Bagh (Garden of Joy) – a terraced Mughal garden which is the largest in the Kashmir Valley. Beautifully located on the banks of the Dal Lake with Zabarwan Mountains at its backdrop, it was built by Asif Khan in 1633 AD. The next on the list of visit is Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love) which was built by Jahangir for his wife Nur Jahan is 1619. Also called the “Crown of Srinagar”, it is one of the highest points of Mughal horticulture. The garden covers a huge area of of 12.4 hectares with a length of 587 meters on the main axis channel and a total width of 251 meters. There are three terraces fitted with fountains and with sycamore (chinar) tree-lined vistas.
You will cover a distance of 12 km and 15 km from Srinagar to Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh respectively. Take a visit to the carpet weaving factory to checkout the local artisans working on the intricate art.

Fasten your seatbelt as you would be on a full day trip to Gulmarg, the Meadow of Flowers, located 2730 m above sea level. You will be covering a distance of 60 km in 2 hours approximately. Gulmarg is a famous hill station and is known as the seventh best skiing destination of Asia. It has the highest golf course in the world with 18 holes. It is located in the PirPanjal Range in the western Himalayas where the road climbs uphill in the last 12 km to Gulmarg which goes amid pine and fir forests.
The thrilling view of the towering mountain ranges will enthrall you, especially the peaks like the Nanga Parbat (26624 ft) and others, if the weather permits. On your way from Tangmarg to Gulmarg, you will be fascinated by the scenic beauty. Don’t forget to keep your eyes and cameras both ready to capture some of the most beautiful sights of nature.
Things to do include a 3 hours short trek to Khilangmarg, sledge riding on snow, and chair lifts for mountain rides for those who can’t trek the full stretch.
Come back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, get driven to Pahalgam through the National Highway 1A. It is pure bliss to be driven past the saffron fields of Pampore, or Avantipur and its astonishing remnants of old temple that dates 1,100 years back, or the village of Bijbehara. Enjoy your journey and don’t forget to try some of the best baked breads sold by vendors near the road to be paid directly to them.
Your route will change at Khanabal, where you will leave the NH1A and carry on through Anantnag – the second largest city of Kashmir. This route too is equally scenic as you will run parallel to the Lidder River flowing in opposite direction in Pahalgam.
Reach Pahalgam and check-in to your hotel for overnight.
Have breakfast and take a leave from Pahalgam for your way back to Srinagar. By lunch time, you will be in the Srinagar hotel. Afternoon is free for leisure and personal activities. We suggest you to use this time taking a breath of air around local market to try out the delicacies and for shopping. The best souvenirs to pickup are pure Pashmina shawls and stoles, copper utensils, Kashmiri tea, carpets, walnut wood products and spices.

Your journey towards Leh begins on this day and you take a halt at Kargil to continue on your route the next day as well. Have your breakfast and begin your journey, taking multiple halts. One of the halts will be at Zojila Pass at 3527 m, which is also known as the Gateway of Ladakh. It is mostly closed during winters for public due to heavy snowfall and risky road conditions.
Continue your journey and take a halt at Drass for tea and refreshment and also for passport check and other security formalities. Located at a height of 10,800 feet (3,300 m), Drass is the centre of the valley of the same name.
Reach Kargil and check-in to hotel for overnight.
This is going to be a long day full of panoramic views and tiring too. You would be ascending three passes and hence it is a must to leave early in the morning for the full day drive to Leh. The first Buddhist village to visit on the way is Mulbekh after which you will cross the highest pass, Fotula at 13749 ft on Srinagar Leh route.
You will be visiting Pathar Sahib Gurdwara, Kargil War Memorial and Magnetic Hill Road one after another on the way. GurdwaraPathar Sahib is a beautiful Gurudwara built in 1517 to commemorate the visit to the Ladakh region of Guru Nanak Dev. Kargil War Memorial is built by the Indian Army to commemorate the martyrs of India Pakistan conflict in 1999 that took place in Kargil. The mysterious Magnetic Hill is an amazing path and must visit for the adventure lovers. Some say the place is mysteriously pulled by some magnetic force, while others say it is all about optical illusion.
Up next to visit is Lamayuru which is the oldest Monastery. Continue your journey to the next village Nimo which is the main starting point for the river rafting expedition that takes place annually in the Indus River.
You reach Leh – 3500 mt – finally! Check-in to your hotel for overnight.

Have your breakfast and get driven to Nubra Valley, which is one of the must-visit places in Ladakh. It is one of the tri-armed Valley located to the north east of Ladakh valley. If you are a foreign national, then it is a must to get Protected Area Permit to visit Nubra Valley.
Diskit is situated about 120 km from Leh and the Shyok River meets the Nubra or Siachen River forming a large valley that separates the Ladakh and Karakoram Ranges. Get swept off by the ultra wide landscapes, humongous mountain faces, lovely trails, wide variety of colors and musical Shyok River flowing midst the valley.
Come back to Leh hotel for overnight.
Start early this day at 5 AM and head off to Pangong Lake through Changla Pass located at 5486 m. The panoramic view while ascending the path is breathtaking and a treat to the eyes. You will take a halt for picnic lunch at Tsoltak, the summer pastureland of the yaks.
Up next is Durbuk and take a short drive to the western shore of the lake. The marvelous landscape at the backdrop of the blue brackish Lake of Pangong is truly enjoyable. The lake is 5-6km wide and more than 144 km long with half of the lake running across the other side of the Indo China Border.One once in a while feels so near nature and condition and the landscape is exceptional.
You will be driven back to Leh in the late afternoon, for overnight stay.
