The Mim Kut festival is one of the important festivals of Mizoram and is celebrated during the months of August and September, i.e., after the harvest of maize. The festival takes place for 2-3 days, where people enjoy the festival with songs and dance and enlightens their spirit by preparing local dishes and drinking rice beer. Therefore, you can visit Mizoram and enjoy the beautiful culture along with the festival in order to understand the significance of the festival. Also, during this festival, the local people offer prayers to their loved ones whom they have lost, and they also pay a lot of offerings in their names.

  • Also, on the second day of the festival, the local people serve bread lunches to each other and enjoy a great meal prepared from these bread items. The local people also enjoy drinking local beer and also dance and sing in order to enlighten the fun of this festival
