1. Visit Ella Rock:
Ella Rock is a popular hiking destination in Ella, as well as one of the most fascinating places to visit in Ella. A three-hour quick hike will take you into the dense forest countryside of Ella attraction. You will see alluring tea plantations and have the opportunity to engage with the tea planters on the trek up to the rock.

During the British colonial era, the bridge was constructed at Gotuwala between the Ella and Demodara stations. This bridge is unique as it is constructed completely of rocks, bricks and cement. There is no use of steel or metals in the construction of this bridge.
The bridge was completed in 1941. The story behind the construction of this bridge is as the bridge was being planned, World War I broke out. The steel and metal materials that were supposed to be used in the construction of the bridge were reassigned for military purposes. But this didn’t dampen the spirits of Ella’s skilled craftsmen, who somehow managed to build this beautiful bridge out of stone, bricks and cement.
4. Climb to the top of Little Adam’s Peak:
This is a smaller version of Nuwara Eliya’s iconic Adam’s Peak, as the name suggests. This trek takes about 2-3 hours since it is at a height of 2,243 metres. As a result, make sure you take breaks to relax and enjoy the landscape. A rock structure that resembles a massive footprint can be found near the summit.
It is also one of the most popular treks in Ella. During the trek, you will trek through abundant tea plantations. The opening hours of this trek is 5 AM to 6:30 PM. No fees are required to explore this amazing trek.
