Street Delicacies of Aamchi Mumbai
Well, if we are talking about Mumbai city and are not having a chit chat about its street food then the visit to Bombay or Aamchi Mumbai is meaningless. If you are walking down any street in Mumbai, you will easily find the stalls which are engaged in selling the local foods which every Mumbaikar likes. 1. Vada Pav
Vada Pav is a deep fried potato dumpling placed inside a bread bun sliced and garnished with some different types of chutneys. Another street food which you can find easily in the streets of Mumbai is Bhelpuri. It is made up of rice and sev (Indian snack food which consists of small pieces of crunchy noodles) by mixing them together with some potatoes, onions and tomatoes. At the end, it is served with some chutneys. Having Bhelpuri on a beach and analyzing other people’s activity will give you a different kind of experience.
3. Pav Bhaji
Pav bhaji is an interesting fast food as well as street food dish in Mumbai and other cities as well. Pav bhaji is a mixture of different kinds of vegetables, mixed with spices and garnished with some coriander and Butter. Once it’s done, it will be served on your table with some pieces of bread. The stalls of Pav bhaji can be easily found on any beaches.
A round shaped puri made up of Semolina which is served with a flavored water and filled with chopped potatoes and onion mixture. You can find this snack on any beach very easily.
