2. Daal Baati Choorma:

If you are visiting Jaisalmer, then you must try this delicious dish. This mouthwatering dish is made up of corn flour dough and stuffed with spicy onion filling. It is served with hot kadi, green chutney for aloo sabzi. After being fried in oil, it is served.

4. Makhania Lassi:

This buttermilk (lassi) is absolutely delicious. It is prepared with the help of dry fruits like dry cherries, cashew nuts, raisins and almonds in this rich yoghurt lassi. This lassi is heavenly, full of butter and milk. I am sure you will ask more after having this Makhania Lassi.

The buttermilk is so dense that you will need a spoon to taste it. One does not have to go far to taste this buttermilk as it can be easily found at the eateries and cafes in Jaisalmer.

5. Chane Jaisalmer Ke:

Jaisalmer’s Chane Jaisalmer Ke is a famous savoury Rajasthani dish with its origins in Jaisalmer. Black chickpeas, gramme flour, and curd (Kadi) are used to make the dish. Desi Ghee, Red chilli and Green dhania are commonly used to garnish this amazing and famous dish. It’s served with rice or roti. Jaisalmer Kala Chana Kadhi is another name for this dish.
